We made this delicious and festive cocktail yesterday to enjoy while we were cooking Thanksgiving dinner, and wanted to share the recipe with you! While the photos do not do this drink justice, we are saving the recipe to make again very soon!
- 2 Pears
- 3 ounces Lemon Juice
- 2 ounces Bourbon
- 1/2 ounce Agave Nectar
- Club Soda to Taste
- Cinnamon sticks for garnish
Puree two pears and 2 ounces of lemon juice in a blender. Strain and press the pear mixture through a strainer or cheese cloth and discard the solids.
Combine the sugar and allspice on a plate, and apply to rim of glass using water.
In a shaker, add the pear puree mixture, 2 ounces of bourbon, the remaining lemon juice, and agave nectar. Add ice, shake, and strain into the cocktail glass. Add ice.
Add club soda to taste.
Add cinnamon stick as garnish.
